2003: Formed league on KFFL 2003: Our first league champ was Randall Rockenbach and his 7 Blocks of Granite team. 2003: My team Goal Line Gangstuz 1st draft pick 1.10 Ahman Green RB GB 2003: Record 7-5-1, made the playoffs as the #5 seed, lost in the 1st round to WestWood Warriors 148-111 2004: New team name Buckeye Bandits, 1st round draft pick #1.07 Reggie Williams WR JAC record 6-7, no playoffs. 2004: Was the 1st year for the championship traveling trophy, awarded to New England Execution. 2005: New team name Buckeye Big Uglies, 1st round draft pick #1.02 Carnell Williams RB TB, record 5-8, no playoffs! 2005: DoCoMo53 wins League Championship and receives the traveling trophy for a year. 2006: Buckeye Big Uglies 1st round draft pick #1.03 Laurence Maroney RB NE, record 3-10, playoffs of 2003 season are a distant memory. 2006: Traveling trophy was named the Tony Berchem Memorial in memory of Tony Berchem. 2006: Khemed wins the league championship and receives the traveling trophy. 2007: KFFL stops hosting leagues. We move to GLFFL. 2007: Buckeye Big Uglies 1st round #1.01 draft pick Adrian Peterson RB MN, record 6-6-1 made playoffs first time in 4 years. 1st round defeated Lebanon Lions 100-92, lost in the 2nd round to the Atlantic Geckos 120-80 (ouch!) 2007: Khemed defeated the Atlantic Geckos 130-120 in the highest scoring championship game in our league history. Khemed becomes our 1st back-to-back league champion. 2008: Khemed enters the new season with the idea of a three-peat. 2008: Buckeye Big Uglies 1st round #1.09 draft pick Chris Johnson RB TN. |
